Create your account
- Download Sipriz from the App Store or Google Play, then open the app.
- Choose how to sign in: email address, phone number (you'll get a code by text message), Apple, Google or Facebook.
- Enter your first name and choose your @username: it's how your people find you.
- Add a profile picture if you like: My space, then Edit.
💡 Your @username is 3 to 20 characters long: letters without accents, numbers, periods or underscores.
Create a gift list
- Open the Lists tab and tap “New list”.
- Give it a name: Christmas, my 30th, baby registry, housewarming…
- Choose a wrapping color and an icon, then a date if it's for an event.
- Choose the circles that will see the list: Family, Friends, Work, Partner or your own circles.
💡 Adding a date to your list means your people get a reminder a week before, then the day before.
Add a wish
- Tap the “+” button in the middle of the bottom bar.
- Paste the product link: Sipriz fills in the name, price and photo for you.
- Or, on a shop's website, tap “Share” then “Sipriz”: the form opens with the link already filled in.
- Choose how much you want it (Dream gift, I need it, I'd like it, Small idea) and add a note if needed, like the size or color.
💡 Some shops block automatic reading: in that case, Sipriz suggests a name taken from the link, and you add the photo and price yourself.
Add your people and sort them into circles
- Open “Find my people” from the Feed or My space.
- Type a person's exact @username, search your contacts, or share your invite link.
- The person accepts your request: you're now connected.
- Sort them into one or more circles. As long as someone isn't in any circle, they can't see any of your lists.
💡 Sorting is private: your people don't know which circle you've put them in.
Reserve and give a gift
- Open one of your people's lists and choose a gift.
- Tap “I'll give it”: the gift is reserved, and the person only sees “Someone's giving it”.
- Buy the gift wherever you like. Sipriz doesn't sell anything and takes no commission on your purchases.
- After giving it, tap “I gave this gift”: the person finds it in their Received tab, with your name, and can thank you.
💡 Changed your mind? Tap “I'm no longer giving it” as long as the gift hasn't been given.
Keep the full surprise
- Open your list, then tap the pencil to edit it.
- Turn on “Full surprise”: you'll no longer see which gifts are reserved at all.
- If you buy an item from your list yourself, open it and tap “I bought it myself”: your people are notified to avoid a duplicate.
Give a gift together
- On a gift that's still free, tap “Give it together”. You become the organizer.
- In the group gift, enter your share and add your payment link (PayPal, Venmo, Revolut…).
- Your people tap “Chip in” and enter their share: the bar fills up, and you're notified each time someone chips in.
- Once the gift has been given, tap “I gave this gift”: the person sees the names of all the contributors, and their thank-you reaches each of you.
💡 No money goes through Sipriz: everyone pays the organizer back directly.
Organize a Secret Santa
- In My space, tap “Secret Santa”, then “Organize a Secret Santa”.
- Enter a name, a date and a budget, then pick at least two of your people.
- If needed, name two people who shouldn't draw each other, a couple for example.
- Each participant adds their wishes to the exchange. When everyone is ready, start the draw: everyone finds out who they're giving to.
💡 The draw happens on our servers: nobody, not even the organizer, can find out who drew whom.
Receive and say thanks
- When one of your people marks a gift as given to you, it shows up in the Received tab.
- Confirm you received it and send your thanks, with a short message if you like.
- Post a Moment to share the unboxing in a photo or video: it stays visible to your people for 7 days.
Notifications, account and privacy
- My space, then Notifications: choose what reaches your phone (your people, gifts, reminders, Secret Santa…).
- My space, then My account: change your email address or password.
- My space, then My account, then “Delete my account”: all your data is erased.
